One of the country’s busiest roads is experiencing heavy delays this morning, after a collision between two heavy-goods vehicles.
The southbound lane on the M1 was blocked after the accident, which happened near Balbriggan. Motorists are advised to expect long delays in the area.
There is a diversion in place, from J7 near to Julianstown, reconnecting at J6 in Balbriggan.
It is understood that neither driver sustained injury.
