“Her music will linger on” – Dolores O’Riordan fans flood City Hall with touching tributes to the Limerick singer

Fans of the legendary Limerick singer Dolores O’Riordan have expressed their sadness and disbelief that the singer has tragically died so young.

46-yr-old Dolores passed away yesterday morning around 9am in the Mayfair Hotel in London’s Park Lane.

She had been staying there at the time of recording some new material.

Fans posted on Facebook that “her music will linger on” – referencing her international hit with the Cranberries “Linger”.

Others merely said “Thank you for the music, you’re in Heaven now”.

Dolores was planning on releasing some new material later this year when her untimely death occurred.

Everyone who knew the Limelick lady says that she was a very nice person in reality, down to earth and no airs or graces whatsoever.

RIP
