Here we go again – Dublin Bus have their hand out and are considering downing tools to strike yet again

Dublin Bus have their hand out, again, and are considering jumping on the strike bandwagon.

SIPTU members at Dublin Bus have been balloted on whether or not to strike. Ballot counting is underway, and results will become known tomorrow morning.

If the ballot results in industrial action, Dublin Bus drivers will need to give seven days’ notice before walking out of their job.

The only good news is that Bus Eireann are almost definitely going to put a halt to their strike action at lunchtime today. We’ll bring you a breaking update when that happens.
