He’s had enough: “My left foot” actor Daniel Day-Lewis says he has retired from acting for good




World renowned actor Daniel Day-Lewis has announced that he’s quitting acting, quoting a ‘private decision’ for doing so.

The 60-year-old, three-time Oscar winner announced his retirement through a spokersperson, who said “Daniel Day-Lewis will no longer be working as an actor.”

Well known for his roles in ‘My left foot’ (1989), ‘The last of the Mohicans’ (1992), ‘Gangs of New York’ (2002), and many others, Lewis now lives in Wicklow with his wife Rebecca Miller and sons.
