A high-speed chase in Limerick ended up with two people arrested and one loaded firearm seized.
The incident happened around midnight on Monday last. A number of Garda cars were rammed during the chase, which began after Gardai attempted to stop a vehicle in the Corbally area of the city.
Officers found a loaded Luger pistol inside the vehicle.
Two men, aged 25 and 29, were arrested at the scene.
