It will be a historic day for Mary Lou McDonald as the Sinn Féin TD will become the party’s new leader.
In a special ceremony at the party’s Ard Fheis, Ms Mcdonald will replace the outgoing president Gerry Adams.
It will also be a special day for Michelle O’Neill as she will become the party’s new deputy leader.
Both women who given their respective positions without contest, will be officially ratified before a crowd of 1,500 party delegates in the RDS.
