Politicians are adept at procrastinating and kicking the can down the road, so that a particular issue hopefully becomes someone else’s problem.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny has been holding on to power for some time now, and is not showing any signs of letting go anytime soon.
Mr. Kenny has now said that he will address the issue ‘next week.’
The main contenders for the top spot, Leo Varadkar and Simon Coveney, have been sharpening the daggers in the background, waiting for a chance to strike.
