There was some tragic news announced this evening as police in Spain have confirmed that a four year old boy from the UK has drowned in a pool at a popular holiday resort.
According to various reports the young boy tragically died before emergency services arrived at the holiday complex in Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. It’s thought that the family had only recently arrived at the resort fir a holiday.
A UK Foreign Office spokesman confirmed that they have contacted Spanish police authorities about the incident and they are also providing consular assistance to the boy’s family.
