Homeless families living in emergency accommodation continues to rise, on foot of Government inaction

The number of homeless families continues to rise across the country, in the wake of the Government’s blatant ‘I’m alright, Jack’ attitude.

A total of 1,442 families were living in squalid emergency accommodation in August, an increase from 1,429 the previous month.

Overall, more than 3,000 children are suffering the consequences of a Government’s blasé attitude towards their plight.
