Homeless man dubbed a hero during the Manchester Arena bombing is charged after he allegedly stole a credit card from one of the victims

According to reports in the UK a homeless man who was dubbed a hero during the recent Manchester Arena bombing has been charged with theft after he stole a credit card from one of the victims.

The man who gave a number of TV interviews following the horrific attack which claimed the lives of 22 people and injured 59 others, Chris Parker, has been charged after he allegedly stole a credit card from one of the bomb victims.

According to Metro.co.uk, the 33-year-old was arrested and charged with stealing the card from Pauline Healey as she lay injured following the bombing at an Ariana Grande concert on May 22nd.

Meanwhile a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson released a statement confirming Parker’s arrest, saying: Parker of no fixed abode, had been charged with two counts of theft and remanded to appear at Manchester and Salford magistrates court on Wednesday.

Mrs Healy was left in coma following the bombing which also claimed the life of her 14 year old daughter Sorrell Leczkowski.
