Hundreds of Gardaí turned out at Dublin castle today for a special event which paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the line if duty.
Todays service paid tribute to all those who lost the their lives since 1922.
The ceremony seen fellow officers pay tribute those who devoted themselves in keeping the Irish people safe whilst standing on the front line.
The ceremony also seen the Deputy Garda commissioner reading out the names of every person who has died on duty while the national anthem played.
