Hopkins: “Good riddance to Martin McGuinness a ruthless monster that was paraded as a saint”

The often outspoken and controversial TV personality and columnist Katie Hopkins, has said the world will be a much better place following the death of Former Northern Ireland First Minister Martin McGuinness.

Hopkins who is no stranger to controversy launched a scathing attack on the former politician whilst writing her column in The Daily Mail. McGuinness who died earlier this week received little sympathy from the TV personality who labelled him as a monster and a disgrace.

Ms Hopkins who is well known for giving her opinions on current affairs, said that she was more than glad that McGuinness was gone and couldn’t care less if died a painful death or otherwise. Hopkins went onto say that Mr McGuinness never paid for his crimes and sins nor did he apologise for them, but instead got his way in the end and was paraded in the media as the white Mandela even though he was a killer.

In her lengthy outburst Hopkins also paid tribute to McGuiness’s alleged victim’s saying she felt sorry and heartbroken at how their reasonably short lives were taken away from them during his ruthless rampage, she also said that even though he was a mercenary McGuinness was given a fate that many of his victim’s were not, in living and long and fulfilled life that resulted in him dying in peace with his loved ones by his side.

In a brief extract Hopkins wrote the following: “I’mt the least bit concerned if his death was painful or otherwise. He had the extraordinary blessing of a reasonably long life. And the gift of knowing he was going to die. He was able to set his affairs in order, to say thank you to the people who loved him, and to feel at peace with the life he was leaving behind.”

“His victims, those who died at the hands of his army, his bombs, and allegedly his own sub-machine gun had no such opportunity.”

“Many never saw thirty. Never got to enjoy the long life he has enjoyed. Their relatives were handed life sentences of their own, too, having to deal with the devastation he wrought.”

However Hopkins outburst didn’t stop there as she lashed out at current and former world leaders for paying tribute to McGuinness despite knowing of his horrendous actions, describing them as false and distorted words to a butcher that ruined dozens of lives.

Ms Hopkins finalised by saying that even though the war was real there was no condoning his unforgivable actions no matter what side you where fighting for either Protestant or Catholic. She also said she can understand why McGuinness never said he was sorry because he never was and he was only sorry he would be caught.

His death cannot redeem him nor return the lives his terrorist bombs took away.
