It doesn’t get much worse than this.
Gardai have arrested 49-yr-old man on suspicion of raping a defenseless 75-year old woman in Ennis, Co. Clare, last Thursday.
The man reportedly lured the elderly woman into his car under false pretenses and drove her to a nearby car park, where he allegedly proceeded to abuse his victim.
The pensioner was able to raise the alarm and the suspect was detained a short time later.
