As a result, the government is again facing renewed calls for urgent intervention to resolve the housing crisis, after another homeless person is found dead on our streets.
A man in his 40s, believed to be a Polish national, was found dead on Cook St near Christchurch in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Horrifically, this is the 27th homeless person to die on Irish streets in 16 months.
