Horrifying: Baby girl was still ALIVE before being placed inside a hot oven at her grandmother’s home

A young infant who was brutally stabbed and placed inside a hot oven at her grandmother’s home was still alive when she was placed inside the hot oven an autopsy report has revealed.

The shocking news comes after 20-month-old Royalty Marie Floyd was tragically found dead the house in Shaw, Mississippi earlier this month.

According to the Bolivar County Coroner’s Office, little Royalty’s death was caused as a result of extensive stab wounds and burning.

The incident which has shocked the world has already seen a murder investigation launched and the baby girl’s grandmother has been arrested and charged in connection with her death.

Police say the baby girl’s grandmother Carolyn Jones, 48, was arrested at the scene of the horrific crime and has been charged with first degree murder.

According to sheriff’s at Bolivar County’s Office, little Royalty had been living with her grandmother whilst her mother Veronica Jones had been living elsewhere.

However the infant’s mum has since defended her mother by stating that her mother loved her granddaughter.

In a Facebook post Veronica said: “I’m being told that my mother stabbed my daughter and baked her in the oven but my mother loved my daughter.

“She always treated Royalty like Royalty and everybody that knows us knows that.

“To my daughter Royalty ‘Mommy will always love you and you will live in all our hearts forever’.”

The grief stricken mum also confirmed that she has setup a GoFundme page in order to take care of Royalty’s funeral arrangements.

It is reported that the page has already received $4,000 in donations from members of the public who have paid tribute to little Royalty.
