A 5-year-old boy has sadly died after he became caught in a moving treadmill at his home.
The tragic incident which occurred in Whitehall Pennsylvania, sadly saw little Ashim Gurung lose his life as his parents prepared food just a few feet away.
According to WXPI, little Ashim became entangled in the machine as tried to retrieve a beloved toy of his.
It is believed that little Ashim’s was found covered in blood just moments later by his distraught parents.
Police investigating the incident which is not being treated as suspicious, say the young boy died as a result of prolonged compression to the neck.
It is reported that little Ashim’s parents have become overcome with grief as they say they only took their eyes off him for a second.
