A two-year-old girl was rushed to hospital on New Year’s Day after she fell into a Rhino enclosure in Florida.
According to reports in the US, the young was taken to hospital after she fell into the enlsosure Brevard Zoo compound in Florida.
It is understood that she fell through the bars and made contact with the snout of one of the Rhinoceroses.
The little girl who is being treated at Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando, was rescued by her father who then rushed to zoo staff who were nearby.
It is not yet known what condition the girl is in, but it is reported that her mother also sustained injuries.
Staff working at the zoo say they are currently working with authorities in order to determine what happened.
