Gardaí in North Dublin have launched an investigation after two young teenagers had their bicycles stolen by ruthless thugs.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the investigation comes after the two teenagers both aged 14, were the victim of a sickening attack on Thursday evening.
It is understood two youths threatened the teenagers by holding knives to their throats at a basketball court near St Anne’s Park in Raheny, at approximately 6:30pm.
Although thankfully niether teen suffered any injuries in the attack, their bikes were stolen in the incident.
Gardaí investigating the incident have since revealed that one of the bikes have been recovered and two youths were arrested and released without charge in connection to the incident.
Officers investigating the incident say both teenagers were left badly shaken following the incident.
They added investigations are still ongoing.
