A young woman is currently fighting for her life after she was the victim of brutal gang rape over the weekend.
The woman aged in her late teens or early twenties, has been put on life support after she underwent major surgery following the sickening attack which occurred in Dinajpur, Bangladesh.
It is understood the young victim was left fighting for her life when her intestines came out of her body after she was brutally raped with a metal rod by a gang of men who followed her from a nearby festival.
Police investigating the horrific attack, told local media reporters that the young woman was found unconscious and with her instestinal tract partially hanging out, by a passer-by who happened to be walking in the area approximately 18 hours after the rape occurred.
They also say given the extent of the woman’s injuries they suspect that she may have been subjected to a rape involving an instrument, most likely a metal rod.
Although no arrest have yet been made, police say an investigation is currently ongoing.
