A hospital employee in the UK has been allegedly sacked after they accessed data belonging to singer Ed Sheeran.
According to BBC News, the employee believed to be an administrator at Ipswich Hospital was dismissed from their duties after they accessed personal information with any consent or a legitimate reason.
It is believed the worker was sacked after they accessed information belonging to singer after he was admitted to the hospital with a broken wrist and elbow back in October 2017.
The incident which also seen another member of staff disciplined was obtained by the BBC after they submitted a freedom of information request.
Sheeran who has just played five concerts here in Ireland, was reportedly admitted to the hospital following a crash on his motorcycle.
