There was good news announced earlier today as latest figures have revealed that almost 2,700 people have been given new accommodation and exited homelessness.
The news which marks a significant step in the bid stop homelessness, comes as the Housing Committee will meet later today to discuss further details later today.
It is believed that the committee headed by Housing Minister Simon Coveney, will outline further details of their Rebuilding Ireland housing plan, which will include the construction of more residential properties, improving the rental market and reducing the number of homeless people.
