Howlin slams Fianna Fail over the renewal of confidence and supply agreement

The Labour Party leader Brendan Howlin has heavily criticised the renewal of the current Confidence and supply agreement.

According to Kfm Radio, Mr Howlin was highly critical of the deal which was renewed before Christmas, saying that it was nothing but a blank cheque for Fine Gael in order to do what they want.

Mr Howlin who himself has come under increased pressure from within his own party in recent months, also criticised Fianna Fáil for supporting the agreement.

The Labour leader effectively claimed that the party were more than willing to agree with Fine Gael on any issue.
