Today marks “World Down Syndrome Day” – a day of celebration for people with down syndrome and their families around the world.
The day also aims to highlight the achievements of people with down syndrome and the benefit they are to their families and society.
Tragically around the world, many diagnosis’s of down syndrome in the womb leads to many of these truly special people being aborted and not getting the chance to lead the exemplary life so many have proven is possible.
A video officially released today by the World Down Syndrome foundation shows a powerful message and is entitled “How Do You See Me?”.
