HSE comes in for yet more criticism after a woman claims she was pressured to sign an insurance form whilst waiting for treatment after suffering a suspected heart attack

The HSE has come in for more criticism today after it has been revealed that a seriously ill woman was pressured to sign a health insurance form.

The latest incident which is becoming more and more common throughout the country’s hospitals comes after the unnamed woman was admitted to a Dublin hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack.

Reports say the woman who has since made a compliant was repeatedly pressured to sign the form by hospital staff earlier this year.

Although the woman did not sign the form and was subsequently admitted by the hospital, she has said she did suffer a great deal of stress at the time of the incident.

The woman claims that as she was awaiting treatment a number of hospital personnel did try to persuade her to sign the form which resulted in her blood pressure being elevated during her traumatic experience.

This recent publicised complaint is the latest in a string of revelations by other patients who claim they have been put in similar situation.
