The streets of Paris were packed to capacity last night and right through the night as parties were held to celebrate France’s win in the 2018 FIFA World Cup after they beat Croatia 4-2 in Moscow yesterday.
Although the Croatians put up the best battle they could, in the end it was France’s combination of youth mixed with experience that proved too strong for the opposition.
The party got underway after the whistle finally went after 95 minutes of play in Moscow.
The Eiffel Tower area and the Champs-Elysees is said to have seen up to 1 million people party on the streets with police reporting there was very little trouble with people in great form and just embracing the victory.
