Traveller John Connors spoke passionately on tonight’s Late Late Show about being a member of the travelling community and being a famous actor in Love/Hate.
In a very tense interview at time, Tubridy really pushed the actor on why he feels deprived from quality of modern day Ireland.
Connors has made a documentary about the topic entitled “I am traveller”, and how the word “kn*cker” affects him in a way that creates fear.
In the emotional and passionate interview, both Connors and Tubridy were loggerheads over whether the media give the travelling community a fair shake in terms of how they’re portrayed.
Tubridy was having none of what Connors was saying and argued that the media treat the travelling community fairly, a point Connors completely disagreed with.
“I am Traveller” is on next Thursday at 9:30pm on RTE2
