“I will return to offer my support” – Ariana Grande confirms she will play benefit gig in Manchester




American star pop star Ariana Grande has confirmed that she will return to Manchester to perform a benefit gig in order to raise funds for the victims of Monday nights horrific terrorist attack.

The American singer who was performing at the Manchester Arena on Monday before the attack which claimed the lives of 22 innocent people and injured 59 others, said that her “heart, prayers and deepest condolences” go out to the victims of the Manchester attack.

In a brief statement the singer said that she will be returning to the city to offer support to her fans.

Ms Grande said: “I don’t want to go the rest of the year without being able to see and hold and uplift my fans.”

“There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better.” “However I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need help in any way.”

The star added: “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honour and raise money for the victims and their families.”

“Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.”
