Ibrahim Halawa is on the Late Late Show on Friday night talking about being in prison for 4 years over the Muslim Brotherhood protests

Ibrahim Halawa is almost like a celebrity these days after getting off all charges over the Muslim Brotherhood protests in Cairo in 2013.

Halawa was one of 400 people arrested in connection to the protests and there was also said to be an alleged murder plot.

Halawa made international news when alleged footage emerged online of him burning his Irish passport, something Halawa’s family deny.

It’s understood that host Ryan Tubridy will ask 21-yr-old Halawa what life in prison was like. It’s also understood that Halawa will declare an interest in helping other muslims still in prison in Egypt.
