Ibrahim Halawa, Ireland’s favorite prodigal son, will be making a second public appearance this evening, as he is due to give a speech about mental health.
The event is part of Dublin City University Mental Health Week programme.
21-year-old Halawa, who spent four years in an Egyptian prison after being rounded up during a protest at Tahir Square, was a guest in the Late Late Show in recent weeks.
In tonight’s appearance, Halawa will talk about his positive attitude towards imprisonment, and his resilience while behind bars.
