Ireland got grandstand seats to see an amazing red lunar eclipse in the early hours of this morning.
Thousands of people around the country got up early to catch a glimpse of the spectacular eclipse with the moon in full sight for much of the night.
Darlene Evervitt used her Nikon P1000 to take these snaps at 4:45am this morning in Rotoath, Co. Meath, while others caught incredible photos of a sensational “red” sunrise greeting the Irish topography this morning.
