An Italian priest has claimed that women who show too much cleavage on their wedding day should be made payable more for their wedding day.

The rather unusual comments which come from Fr Cristiano Bobbo, have seemingly not gone down well with women worldwide who say it is their choice to wear a dress of their choosing.

Fr Bobbo who is facing a wrath of criticism apparently wrote a piece in a leading church publication slamming women who wear wedding gowns with a plunging neckline.

The Venice based priest has jokingly suggested that some form of indecency tax should be imposed as women are treating their wedding day as some sort of an event rather than a day they commit to their significant other.

Fr Bobbo also stated that women who wear such wedding gowns are behaving inappropriately in regards to church wedding.
