In an incredible interview, newly crowned Rose of Tralee 2015, Elysha Brennan gave an emotionally powerful interview on tonight’s first Late Late Show of the season.
Elysha went into detail as to how she overcame a massive battle when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma during her repeat Leaving Certificate year when she was 19.
She went into detail as to how the cancer affected her, her physical and mental issues as result, and her new perspective on life as a result.
Elysha will now travel the world as the Rose Ambassador, after which she’ll continue her studies to be a doctor.
The 22-year-old from Bettystown, Co Meath, spoke like a lady far beyond her years. She also sang a piece, a skill that helped her win this year’s Rose of Tralee.
