Former heroin addict James Leonard spoken candidly on the Tommy Tiernan show about how he managed to turn his life around.
James was a major heroin addict who was in and out of prison, almost died from various overdoses and whose life was completely spiralling out of control.
But with the help of the Cork Simon Community, he slowly but gradually managed to get sober and get his life back on track.
He eventually started a college course, got a job, met a girl and is even graduating with a masters in Criminology next month.
James said that people’s lives can be turned, they just need to try.
