RTE radio presenter Louise McSharry spoke from the heart on last night’s Ray D’Arcy show.
Louise told how she battled with cancer and how it tormented her and her husband trying who were trying to start a family.
The radio presenter managed to beat cancer and became pregnant earlier this year.
She spoke of how a tough childhood with her biological mother battling alcoholism and her father dying of cancer lead to her uncle and his wife bringing up the young girl in Chicago.
A philosophical woman, Louise made things right with her mother before she died last month.
Louise’s book is out now called ‘Fat chance’.
