A man who headed an international child pornography ring and was sentenced to 40 years in prison just last December has been killed in prison.
Christian Maire masterminded a group of people online who would share and disseminate images of young girls they’d duped into providing them with images and videos of themselves naked and performing sex acts. They would even encourage girls to cut themselves on camera for their amusement.
Maire was jailed in Milan Prison, Michigan where he was attacked by fellow inmates on Friday last, the two attackers beat Maire and one stabbed him a number of times with a homemade shiv.
Maire was rushed to hospital were he soon succumbed to his injuries and two prison guards were also injured in the incident.
One of Maire’s victims had predicted his demise at his sentencing.
