Police in the UK have released the name of am 11 year old girl who was sadly killed following a stabbing incident at her home.
The announcement comes after the young girl Jasmine Forrester, sadly passed away in hospital in Wolverhampton this morning.
It is understood the young girl died after she suffered a number of injuries including a stab wound during the altercation which occurred at approximately 1am at her home on the Kent Road.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Police also confirmed that 51 year old man has been arrested in connection with the murder.
They also say the man is also being treated at hospital for injuries he sustained in the incident.
Meanwhile an 80 year old woman is also being treated for a dislocated shoulder.
Police say the they currently trying to determine the cause of incident.
