Gardaí and Customs Officials have confirmed that €3m worth of illegal drugs have been seized at Dublin Port.
The discovery was made after customs officials along with the aid of sniffer dog Meg searched a cargo ship which arrived at the port from Europe
It is understood 36kgs of suspected cocaine and 11kgs of suspected MDMA were found inside a container on board the ship.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing.
