Ireland could see some snowfall within the next 24 hours as cold snap arrives

Ireland could very well see some snowfall on Thursday as temperatures are expected to plunge over the next 24 hours.

Although the country will remain relatively dry, forecasters say some snowfall could occur in the North of the country on Thursday afternoon.

According to The Irish Mirror, latest predictions come as the country is expected to see a significant drop in temperatures over night with lows of -3C expected in some places.

Meanwhile Thursday night is expected to be another cold night as sub zero temperatures are expected.
