Ireland have kicked off the Autumn International Series with a 28-17 win over Argentina in Dublin this evening.

In a warm up to next weekends crunch clash with New Zealand, Ireland were made to work for a victory over a resurgent Argentinan side who will be buoyed by their performance heading into next year’s World Cup.

Ireland who will have to up their game next week to stand any chance of defeating the All Backs, were made to pay for many handling errors as Argentina pushed them all the way.
