According to a report in a new international travel guide Ireland has been voted one of the top 10 countries in the world to visit in 2015.

The report written by Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel 2015 claims that Ireland is ‘the real deal’ with its stunning scenery and traditions still very much intact.
The guide also praises the Irish people, stating that we remain as friendly and welcoming as ever.
A spokesperson for the guide said: “With the Wild Atlantic Way now fully open and a new sense of optimism surging through the country, 2015 really is the time to go to Ireland.”

It is understood that Ireland came in fifth place on the list. The guide voted Singapore as the number one place to visit on the planet, followed by Namibia, Lithuania and Nicaragua.
