Irish-American Philanthropist Chuck Feeney has made a very generous donation.
€138.4 million has been awarded to Trinity College Dublin and The University of California, San Francisco in hope to find a cure for dementia.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny gave an announcement on the news at Trinity today where there was a live link up with California.
