A 14 year old Irish boy is in critical condition in hospital in Spain after fell from a hotel balcony.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the happened shortly after 12am on Wednesday in Playa de Muro in Majorca. It is believed the boy fell 20ft to the ground and he suffered serious injuries in the fall.
The Mirror say the boy’s mother tried desperately to save the boy from falling, but unfortunately he slipped from the grip of her hand.
It is not yet known how the incident occurred but it is believed the boy was playing on the balcony when the incident occurred.
