Irish consumers outraged after music retailer HMV fails to deliver orders despite taking payments

Thousands of Irish consumers have been left outraged over the past week as the music, dvd and electronics retailer HMV has not fulfilled their orders.

The retail giant who closed its stores across Ireland in 2016 has left many customers raging over the past few weeks as its online store which is still in operation failed to deliver goods to customers on time.

According to one The Liberal.ie reader the retail giant has been allegedly leaving customers in limbo for months as their orders never arrived despite them paying for their goods in full.

The reader who wishes to remain anonymous also told us that the company who previously seen a massive sales dip at stores whilst they were in operation, will not respond to any phone calls or emails despite the fact that they and many other customers had a catalogue of orders.

Although HMV have publicly stated they intend to address the ongoing issue, many consumers have voiced their disgust on social media with many slating the company for their poor customer service.

Sources have also revealed that the issue has been ongoing for a number of months with many customers now boycotting the website as they are out of pocket due to the retailer not responding to their queries.
