Irish Government could be forced to take in more refugees under new EU regulations

The Irish Government could soon see themselves being forced to take in a higher refugees from war torn countries from next march March.

The news comes after a number of EU officials met Brussels last night were they discussed the issue.

Although the existing migration system would remain in place, the EU has agreed that all of it’s member states would have up their intake quota if the crisis worsens.

It is believed the potential change will be discussed further at the European Council meeting in March.
