Irish lecturer stabbed to death by former pupil in Paris





The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that an Irish citizen has been killed in a stabbing incident in Paris today.

The victim, identified as a 66-year-old lecturer at the Leonard-de-Vinci University in Courbevoie, sited on the northwest of Paris. was reportedly attacked by a former pupil of his, a young man of Pakistani origin. The lecturer was stabbed up to 13 times.

The alleged perpetrator was arrested at the scene.
