One of the country’s leading health insurance companies Irish Life Health have issued an apology to some of its customers today after they were wrongfully over charged on their policy.
In addition to the apology Irish Life say some 118 customers on the same plan will also be given refunds.
A spokesperson for the company said the mistake was a technical error and all those who purchase their Business Plan Hospital Plus policy were incorrectly overcharged.
They added the number customers involved is very small and those affected will receive notification about the mistake and their refund over the coming days ahead.
