Irish neutrality finished as the E.U. pushes ahead with Super-state army

Ireland will soon see the last vestige of its neutrality as the EU presses on with its plan for a super-state military alliance.

Ireland has already joined PESCO, the Permanent Structured Cooperation on security and defence, which is touted as a method of promoting military co-operation between EU member states.

However, senior EU figures have stated that this is simply a stepping stone towards a full military alliance and common defence and security policy across the EU.

The EU Commission President Jean-Claude Junker has stated that a fully federalised “United States of Europe” with its military is something that Brussels is striving for and is the inevitable result of further EU integration.

Now Germany’s Defence Minster, Ursula von der Leyen has stated that Germany’s number one priority is too bring about a EU defence union.

Despite these pronouncements for EU elites Irish politicians and media continue to dismiss any concerns about Irish neutrality and the EU.
