The family of Alan Henning who was horrifically murdered by ISIS in a video uploaded yesterday which shows him being beheaded, are said to be ‘numb with grief’.
The aid-worker from Manchester, was formally a taxi driver who decided he wanted to travel to Syria and Iraq to help the innocent people who were being subjected to hardship by the despicable Islamic State.
They said “he was a kind, gentle, caring person. He only wanted to help people and this is the news we really wished we’d never hear.”
