The beach near the Imperial Marhaba hotel in Tunisia was the scene of a deadly attack suspected to be carried out by Isis militants.

At least 27 people have been gunned down at the Sousse beach report, one of the prime Tunisian tourist spots.

There were reportedly two gunmen involved in the attack. One of them was shot dead during a gun battle with security forces. The second attacker is still on the loose.

Holidaymakers are now gathered in hotel reception areas and hiding in their rooms as the situation develops.

Earlier on today, another suspected Isis attack left a man dead in a location near the French city of Grenoble. The victim was decapitated and his head was hung on fence next to two jihadi banners. Arabic writing had been scribbled all over the severed head.
