Met Eireann has withdrawn the two weather warnings that were in place up to 6pm this evening, though adverse weather conditions remain in many areas.
Despite the improvement in the weather, motorists are advised to drive with caution nonetheless, and pedestrians should watch out for icy patches on the sidewalks and elsewhere.
